Keurig Platinum Brewer *Review and Giveaway*

We are huge tea and hot chocolate drinkers in our house, and I like to enjoy the occasional decaf flavored coffees. I know that we are lightweights here in the house, but we always have coffee available for our family members when they come to town. My one big problem with a coffee maker is that it makes a whole pot of coffee, or you don’t get to have any options on what you get to make. So when you have guests in your house or you and your husband drink something different you are confined to making large batches of coffee, or making separate messes in the kitchen for two small cups.
I was recently given the chance to review the Keurig Platinum Brewer and I must say that I already love the functionality of this coffee, tea, and hot chocolate brewer. Yes, I did say all three! What is so wonderful about having the Keurig Platinum Brewer is that you can choose what you are having and brew your own individual cup and then the next person that comes along can choose something totally different. I can remember over the holidays having a large amount of family here and all of them drank or preferred a different kind of tea or coffee and I surely needed the Keurig then, but I didn’t even know that such a thing existed. When I received the Keurig Platinum Brewer and tried it out I was excited that I had a way to make myself my hot chocolate or tea and then my husband could have something different if he wanted.
Another great feature is that you can pick which size cup of coffee or tea you want to brew and it even has an option for making an iced beverage. You can set your brewer to turn on or off when you want it too, so that makes it nice for when you get up in the morning. The brewer is incredibly easy to use, and you will have a fresh cup of tea or coffee in less than a minute.
Nothing about the Keurig Platinum Brewer is difficult, right down to cleaning the unit. I haven’t done what they call a purge on the system yet but that looks like a fairly easy task. You can remove the drip tray and put it in the dishwasher, and the k-cup holder is easily removed to clean it.

I was amazed while browsing their site at the huge selection of coffees, teas and hot chocolates, and they also have some really nice accessories to go with your brewer as well. They have water filters available, racks to hold all your k-cups so they are nice and neat and easily accessible on your counter, and they even have a special My K-Cup adapter so you can brew a cup of your favorite tea or coffee that you are used to drinking.
I love the versatility of the Platinum Brewer because you can make several cups of anything you choose and you don’t have to worry about the mess or making more than you can actually drink, just to enjoy one cup of coffee or tea. It is incredibly easy to use and I love the blue backlit display because it makes it easy to see. The temperature preference is also nice because you can pick how hot you want your drink to be, I am one of those people who likes it somewhere in the middle. The one thing that you have to be careful with is to remember to have your cup in place before you start brewing or you will have a mess to clean up. I would definitely recommend chucking that coffee pot for a Keurig Platinum Brewer because it is a one man show when it comes to making hot beverages for yourself, for your husband or for visitors. You’ll never have to rinse out the coffee pot to set it up for something different ever again. I get excited just to go make a cup of tea or coffee now. I LOVE IT!

I love the Keurig. My brother in law has one and a few people I know and they alaways rave about them and I’m so jealous! I have wanted one of these for over a year now.
I’m a busy mom and I enjoy a HOT cup of coffee in the morning but sometimes I’m so busy running around with the kids that by the time I get to the coffee that was brewed in the pot it’s either “burnt” or cold. I love the Keurig because I could make fresh hot coffee when I have the time to enjoy it.
I would like to try the fair trade K-cups because I love to try different types of coffees and I love that the coffee was aquired with fair trade practices.

I like the fct that it is also travelable and I would love the variety brand of coffee cups.
I really like the Keurig coffee maker because I can easily make a single cup of my favorite coffee and my hubby can make his decaf or tea, and my kids can even make a Ghiradelli hot chocolate. It is so versatile. My favorite is
the Green Mountain.
The K-cup I would like to try is the Espresso Blend Coffee by Green Mountain. I like that the K-cups are portion packs that are airtight!
Keurig is just so user friendly and convenient to use. I’d like to try the Ghiradelli hot cocoa K cups!!

I am a single mom ergo, I am the only coffee drinker in the house…and I love coffee, fresh coffee! I would like to try the Donut Shop coffee by Coffee People. Being the only coffee drinker in the house, I like the fact that you only have to make one fresh cup of coffee at a time and don’t end up with a whole pot of coffee that sits around all day.

One of the things I like about Keurig is that you don’t have to make an entire pot of coffee. Everyone can have their own say in the type of cup they want just by choosing their own K-Cup. I appreciate the fact that the Keurig is versatile in that it can make more than one kind of hot drink. Since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house I like the idea that the machine can make just one serving. I only need one cup of coffee in the morning but I really want that one cup.

I love that Keurig brewers are so easy to use. The hospital I work at has one and I use it all the time! Plus, they’re stylish, so even though they’re on the bigger side, they look great!

I love the wide variety of K-Cups: coffee, tea & hot cocoa. I would try the Caribou Blend medium coffee first.
I love a good foo-foo coffee and I only drink a cup in the morning and sometimes another during the day. I like that I can just quickly make a cup for myself without having to make a half pot.
I really want to try the Raspberry Chocolate Truffle K-Cups by Van Houtte.

Keurig is a real have-it-your-way machine. The variety of coffees is amazing and you can order assorted boxes of various types from the brands.
I would love an assorted box of Gloria Jeans flavored coffee, my husband would like an assorted box of Timothy’s. And then we could order assortments of other brands.

I really love the idea of each person being able to brew exactly what they want – regular, decaf, flavored, or even tea or hot chocolate! What a dream machine! And pour me a cup of the Cinnamon Stick Coffee by Bellaccino or the Southern Pecan Pie Coffee by Green Mountain!

I love the amount of variety you have with the Keurig and how easy it is to use and clean. I would have a variety of drinks and flavors, but the most common would be Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Southern Pecan.

I like the Keurig because it can make small amounts of GOOD coffee so a whole pot isn’t wasted. I would really like to try the Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream Coffee.
What I like most about Keurig is that you can make pre-measured, individual cups of your favorite beverage. And the brand I would like to try first with the Keurig Platinum Brewing System is the Kona Blend Island Style Coffee by Coffee People. 🙂

I love the versatility. We are big coffee drinkers here, without question, but we have a daily tea habit as well as hot chocolate in the colder months so this would be fabulous we could all get the varieties that please us most.

Honestly, what I love about Keurig besides quick great coffe is actually the huge selection of coffees and teas they have compared to other single cup machines… As for K-cups to try several but would start with the Caribou Coffee Morning Breakfast Blend… yummmm

I like that there are so many flavors to choose from and that it’s easy to use. My favorite flavor is Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream Coffee

I like the fact that there is virtually nothing to clean up. I would like to try the Tully’s Kona Blend.
I love that it makes a single cup since its use would be for my hubby in the morning before work so this is absolutely perfect. My favorite k-cup for me is the hot cocoa.

I love the idea that it makes one cup at a time. I hate throwing out a half pot of coffee. Now for the flavor I would choose gosh they all look great. I would get the hot cocoas, Emerils coffee line, I would try them all expect the hot tea.
I like that it offers a coffee house quality cup of coffee for just a fraction of the cost of a coffee house and with the convenience of brewing instantly in your own kitchen.

I love that the Keurig makes a perfect single cup of coffee each time — I’m the only coffee drinker in the house, and I’m notoriously bad at brewing my one, so the Keurig’s the perfect solution for me! I’m also amazed at the size of the selection, and especially pleased to see my favorite brand of coffee, Caribou, represented — my first choice of K-cups would definitely be the Caribou Mahogany and Caribou Daybreak Morning Blend. Keurig is great-tasting. I owned a system about 2 years ago. It would be great to try the Nantucket Blend.
i like how the keurig single cup coffee maker only makes 1 cup at a time since i’m the only one who drinks it in my household. i’d like to try the Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa by Cafe Escapes k-cups.
Thank you so much for the giveaway. I really like that a group of different people can pick and choose what they want to have. DH can have an espresso, I can have a decaf tea and the kids can have hot chocolate. My grandpa’s 88th is coming up and I think that this would be perfect to put out on a table and let the guests get their own beverages.
I’d try so many different types that were on the kcups page. Any of the fair trade coffees, many of the teas, the new iced tea (yum!) and of course the cocos.
I love that it is so simple yet nice. I could love to try any of the tea k cups…

my boyfriends mom just bought one of these. we spent a whole afternoon playing with it. I love the easy, no mess make and toss K-cups. I tried several flavors, but I am aching to try the Gloria Jeans flavors, we didn;t get to those before I had to come home…LOL
We have 4 adults in our household who drink coffee and/or tea. The Keurig Platinum Brewer would free up a lot of counter space in my kitchen. Everyone could have their favorite beverage any time. I’d have to say – to keep eveyone happy – I’d like to try the varity pack.
